Lions Clubs International Century of Service Commemorative Coin

The Lions Clubs International Silver Dollar is a commemorative coin program for 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Lions Clubs International (LCI) by Melvin Jones in 1917.

Coins will be issued in a quantity of up to 400,000 $1 coins by the U.S. Mint.  A $10 surcharge will be added to the price of each coin and distributed to the Lions Clubs International Foundation to further its programs for the visually impaired, the disabled, youth and those affected by a major disaster.

The design of the coin will be emblematic of the centennial of the Lions Clubs International.
